No pain, no gain! Study for a job in the game or film industry…*
Christian Mösbauer/SAE Institute / QANTM, Daniel N. Sönnichsen/SAE Institute /QANTM, Phillip A. Hellmann/SAE Institute/QANTM

Two very ambitious students from SAE Munich’s Animation course are going to show how many skills they developed during their one year studies.
They’ll demonstrate three of their student projects, done at the campus of SAE Munich.
Step by step they’ll go through the different production states of their projects, starting with an idea, first concept arts and storyboards, going over a thorough planning and finally realization in the 3D applications and compositing tools they used.
The first project is a trailer for a planned Battlefield 2 Mod, with consciously game look, showing their low-poly knowledge, done with 3dsmax. The second project is about character animation implemented in live footage done with Softimage XSI. The last project is their final project to get their diploma.
The presentation will be held in German.

Christian Mösbauer developed SAE Institutes very successful Digital Film and Animation Program in 1999. Since QANTM was owned by SAE, he was put in charge of QANTM Munich in 2005 as educational director.
