The Recruiting Event attracts young talent from all over Europe and offers them the opportunity to meet recruiters from big and small companies from all over the world.
At the Recruiting Panels, companies give an insight into their work concerning current projects and advertise job openings. At the Recruiting Desks, applicants can speak directly with the HR people and show their demo reels. Recruiting sessions will be held by communication experts such as Peter Plantec, Shelley Page und Pamela Thompson offering graduates and freelancers invaluable knowledge about career opportunities and career planning.

Also taking place will be The Disney Animation Portfolio Workshop, with Artists and recruiters from Disney Animation, and the Self-Marketing Panel, where top industry recruiters will discuss the practical realities of marketing yourself and your creative talents within animation/vfx/gaming production industries. With Dawn Rivera-Ernster from Disney Animation, Shelley Page, DreamWorks SKG, Pamela Thompson (independent Recruiter), Timm Osterhold, 58 3D Animation & Digital Effects, and Sven Liebich, Phenomic Game Development. Furthermore there will be the DreamWorks Animation Recruiting Session with Shelley Page.

Schools from Europe and all over the world will have presentations of up to one hour. They will talk about their curriculum, how their schools have been set up and show a selection of the latest student work. School presentations will take place on Tuesday, 02 May and Wednesday, 03 May in Metropol 3.

Since 2003, European Talents brings the new animation generation into contact with companies and potential clients and creates a platform for the development and the exchange of project ideas.

In the 7th Eyes & Ears Junior Showcase students, trainees and graduates from the fields of media design, media art, TV/film/web/sound design, scenography, promotion producing and media marketing will present their projects and be available for discussion. Eyes & Ears of Europe is the association for the design, promotion and marketing of audiovisual media in Europe. One of the professional organisation's major goals is the development of new education and training forms for media design, promotion and marketing, as well as the encouragement on the debate on quality standards for strategy and production processes and its results in the fields mentioned respectively.
