Digital Cinema: European Facility Production for Digital Intermediate
Kris Kolodziejski, DI Expert, Digital Film Lab Copenhagen

As the Digital intermediate has come out of "kindergarten" and is becoming the standard post production route for cinematic releases, I would like to firstly sum up the practices used so far and go through new developments in this fast growing area. Also as DI has opened up for other uses such as "historical DI", I will show some examples that illustrate these.

Kris Kolodziejski studied film at the University of Copenhagen in the late 70's. From '79 - '82 he worked as an assistant and pupil to the Polish cinematographer, Zygmunt Samosiuk. After this he began working as a cinematographer and then became a director and writer in Denmark. In `94 he started a post production company.
