Making of Visual Effects „Die Luftbrücke“ and a first look of the developments of a “Tornado”

Making of Visual Effects for "Die Luftbrücke“ – a historical Event-Movie that was awarded the Golden Kamera 2006 as best German TV-Movie. Creating fotorealistic historical airplanes and ruins. The presentation will finish with a sneak preview of the development of a Tornado attacking Berlin.

Sven Martin was born in 1976 in Wiesbaden. After his schooling, he worked in the graphics department of the public broadcaster Hessischer Rundfunk. From 1997-2002, he studied Digital Design and Animation at the Film Academy Baden-Wuerttemberg in Ludwigsburg. 2003 he directed the animated short "Knight Games". After working as compositor and 3D artist on films like "Schnee in der Neujahrsnacht" and "Sass" he lead the digital and visual effects of "Fateless", "Tsunami" and "Die Luftbrücke" as vfx supervisor among others.

Juri Stanossek has worked on numerous projects since 1996. Currently he is Elektrofilm´s VFX Supervisor for "Tornado", in 2005 he supervised the feature films "Luftbrücke", "Don´t come knocking", and "Tsunami" as well as the TV series "Ein Engel für alle".
