Focus on Asia: JiLin College of the Arts

Jilin College of the Arts Animation School was established in June 2000, and was approved as the independent school subordinate to the province by the Ministry of Education in February 2004. The school, occupying 210,000 square meters, with a construction space of 120,000 square meters, has 5,736 students at school, including 3,280 students majoring in animation. The school offers 5 majors, including Animation, Vision Transmitting, Environment Design, Advertisement and Radio and Television News, Photogtaphy. The school has formed the optimized structure of multiple specialties with animation as the leading subject, and development to be a higher art school.
